弔唁愈於宴樂

有時寧可往舉殯之家 ,
要比去喜樂飲宴之家還好 ,
因為到憂傷哀悼的地方 ,
會令人想起每一個人的最後結果始終都要離世 .
願在生之人心中牢記 ,
願我們可以從中省察自悟 .

往遭喪的家去，強如往宴樂的家去；因為死是眾人的結局，活人也必將這事放在心上。
It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.
